GaymerX unite, StarCraft 2 gets the boot, & The Wonderful 101 looks wonderful

If you read just one account of the gay/nerd pride event GaymerX, held last week in Japantown in San Francisco, it should probably be Vice’s.  As a bonus, homemade Pokéballs!

We remember having to “play” Disney’s Adventures in Typing with Timon & Pumbaa once a week in 3rd grade. Step aside, Simba. We now have Icarus Proudbottom Teaches Typing, an equally absurd typing game where you can “become A GOD OF TYPING!”

Hideki Kamiya (director of Viewtiful JoeOkami, mack daddy) has been under the radar since Bayonetta. But hold your breath no longer—a trailer for his newest project on the Wii U, The Wonderful 101, just dropped. Looks insane!

No down on their luck Eastern European immigrants were harmed in the making of Cart Life. Good to know!

StarCraft 2 has been ousted from Major League Gaming’s esports line up. We wonder if poor ratings or contract issues were to blame.
