Did You Know There’s a FIFA for Robots?

The RoboCup Japan Open is a tournament for robots where they play soccer and apparently show each other photos of their WAGs. Above is Hajime Robot 31, a humanoid creation from the Chiba Institute of Technology 1m tall weighs just 5kg and comes with 17 joints.

I look forward to the day when Americans can complain about how they’d be so much better at robo-soccer if they weren’t diverting their best ones to other sports like football and killing terrorists from the sky.
