Game of Thrones is HBO’s much-ballyhooed high fantasy drama series, soon entering its 4th season. Big Boi is the hip hop artist best known for rapping about southernplayalisticadillacmuzik and bombs over Baghdad in the rap group OutKast. In other words, nothing in common. 

Except, well, Big Boi and nine other artists who’d never set foot in a Tolkien convention are on the mix tape promoting the new season. Some of these include the rappers Common, Wale, Bodega Bamz, and Daddy Yankee. Granted this story falls outside out typical videogame coverage (save for the fact that like 1 in 5 games are derivative of high fantasy), but what we love here besides the new trailer is the crossing of cultures—something we hope to see more of in games too.
