How do you increase worker satisfaction? Robots.

Foxconn, a tech manufacturer in Taiwan, is hoping so at least. In the face of very grave labor conditions that have caused strikes and on-the-job-suicides, the company plans to replace many of its assembly-line workers with robots, while transitioning many of its 1.2 million employees into departments such as R&D and product innovation. This perhaps signals a trend in how tech products are manufactured, and in all likelihood signals that in a few short years technology will be a closed loop in which machine manufactures machine.
