The Mass Effect series may finally reach its conclusion. Again. 

In the few months since its release, the controversy surrounding Mass Effect 3‘s ending has been discussed extensively. Tomorrow, BioWare will release a new ending to the game that will be “available to download at no additional charge” in response to criticism from players who were dissatisfied with the conclusion of the trilogy. Rather than offer a true alternate ending, the developers seem to be striking a compromise that will tie up loose ends without sacrificing the integrity of the original ending. It remains to be seen whether participants in the Retake Mass Effect movement will be appeased.
