You wouldn’t know it, but SoulCalibur’s Ivy Valentine, Sheeva from this year’s Mortal Kombat and the Medivac Pilot from Starcraft II were all voiced by the same San Diego woman. Voice actress Lani Minella has contributed to over 500 video games since 1992. Her versatility is owed in part to her four-octave range, which, as the video shows, is still amazingly intact. 

“I can be the little kid and be innocent…. ‘if you want me to be innocent, that’s cool’… But to be the big, bad and the ugly!! That is the most fun,” Lani said.
