Nintendo commissions real-life Mario karts

If your bucket list is anything like mine, you hope to one day take part in a real life Mario Kart race. I can only fathom that Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, had a similar fantastical wish. Under the guise of promoting the new Mario Kart game due out in December, Fils-Aime commissioned West Coast Customs to make working versions of the karts we all secretly long for. They were unveiled at the LA Auto show. I have to wonder if Reggie got to keep one as his company car.
