PAUSE: The seven fundamentals of Muppet Cinema could make for a great game.

The New Yorker recently posted their list of seven precepts that should govern any good Muppet movie. They are as follows:

  1. The Muppets should play themselves.
  2. The Muppets should have bigger parts than the humans.
  3. You need great cameos.
  4. Among the Muppets, Kermit and Piggy must have top billing.
  5. Go easy on the lessons.
  6. Throw some jokes to the adults, too.
  7. Lavish musical numbers.

Throughout the years, there have been a few Muppet videogames, but nothing truly classic. Might this be the time to give it another shot? Hey, we’ve already got a set of ground rules in place…

In closing, if you don’t like the Muppets, you have no soul.
