Zynga is taking advantage of their platform to do more than promote themselves. They have announced a new Bingo game going in to beta soon that will draw players from throughout Facebook, allowing everyone to play together in massive games. The company has made a lot of money through leveraging the social network they produce games on and this seems like it won’t be any different.
Friends’ profile pictures will stand in as Bingo chips and “there’s no limit to how many people you can play against.” But even with the social angle, a game with so little skill seems like it won’t be the most captivating thing to do on Facebook. But who am I to judge the business model that has worked so well for them?
