– Microsoft says there will not be a new Xbox in 2012.

– The Giants win the Super Bowl (according to Madden).

– Nintendo Network is going to allow microtransactions, the cornerstone of business models like free-to-play games.

– DICE is looking for an anti-cheat administrator for Battlefield 3.

– Harmonix (of Guitar Hero, Rock Band and Dance Central fame) is working on a game for digital distribution platforms like XBLA, PSN and even Facebook.
