Ever wonder why those pinball games by FarSight Studios, like Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection and the upcoming Pinball Arcade, feel almost as good as the real thing? Because these guys pay an insane amount of attention to details, tearing apart pinball tables and reassembling them in digital form.

Though this documentary features some GarageBand-quality acoustic noodling, give it a chance. If you’re like me, and love pinball tables, or documentaries, and especially documentaries on pinball (such as the fantastic Special When Lit. srsly, check it out on Netflix), you’ll be glad you did.
