Why yes, that is the home screen to NBA Jam that you’re looking at. There are probably a hundred more title screens of popular 16-bit games over at Title Scream, all available in beautiful animated .gif form. It’s hard to tell why this website exists, other than that somebody thought it was a cool idea, and/or it’s a Cory Arcangel-esque technoprank, but the internet is all the better for its existence.
