Wired has compiled a bunch of conceptual drawings and prototypes of spacecrafts that, for one reason or another, sadly never became reality. My favorite is this beaut from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. which “was based on ideas from the rocket pioneer Werner Von Braun.”

Sigh. I miss the Space Age already.
