The systems we interact with every day as gamers are the subject of this field, but it equally applies to designing other systems, such as social networks, marketplaces, and business structures. For those interested in learning more, we have a great opportunity to do so.
General Assembly is a campus for design, technology, and business in the heart of NYC’s Flatiron district. They teach skills-focused courses in web design, programming, marketing, game design, and other emerging topics. The education is all hands-on, and focuses on getting students to learn by doing.
