Huffington Post reports that a Carmen Sandiego movie is going to happen, and Jennifer Lopez is producing it. Early plot reports make the forthcoming adaptation of the beloved computer game sound pretty formula-tastic:
According to Deadline, the movie’s concept will be “‘National Treasure’ meets ‘The Thomas Crown Affair,’” and will feature the super sleuth tangled up in a high-profile heist.
At this point, it’s all up in the air as to whether or not Lopez will play Carmen, although it didn’t take very long to find a picture of J-Lo dressed in some vaguely Sandiegoan duds. Just saying.
