We know there are many bad jobs in the world. (Major website videogame intern may be one of them, in fact.) Lapham’s Quarterly has gone ahead and done the legwork for the worst jobs ever created.  These include such glorious distinctions Viking egg-collector, the poor people in Tokyo who push crowded people into subways, and 19th century leech gatherers who wandered into ponds with bare legs to collect the creatures.  Perhaps it’s unsurprising that World of Warcraft gold farmer has made the distinction as well, falling into the difficult and tedious end of the matrix.
