Join our exciting workshop and start your journey to unlock the full potential of ZBrush!

Picking a tool is easy; finding your style isn’t. When you’re just getting started, it’s hard to figure out your distinct creative point of view. Zbrush is an excellent tool for those harnessing its powerful features to bring your virtual visions to life.

In this hands-on workshop, we will guide you through creating models for character-based creation. We’ll go over some basic functions of Zbrush.

In the first hour, you’ll get an introduction to zBrush and learn why to use it versus other tools. You’ll also get an overview of navigation, masking, extracting, and zModeler. In the second hour, we’ll cover shape building, DynaMesh, zRemesher, and using Booleans.

Images in the slideshow above are demonstrative of what’s possible for beginners. Attendees should expect to leave having started their first 3D creation in Zbrush after learning the tools, how to navigate the program and best practices.

Killscreen is an arts and culture organization committed to advancing the dialogue and practice of games and play. Founded in 2010, we seek to drive the intersection of games, play, and culture through cross-disciplinary collaboration to show the world why play matters. We want to break down the barriers that have traditionally segregated play and games from other creative disciplines and highlight creators with ambassadorial relationships to the world around us.

We encourage you to follow and share the hashtag #KSonline for more incredible online experiences. And check out other material on Killscreen.com, including honest and thought-provoking interviews with some of the best creators at the intersection of play and culture.
